Victoria Stars Quilt

The Quilt

The quilt was created for The Town of Victoria’s Centennial Celebration. The block patterns and the fabric used in the quilt were chosen because they would have been the patterns and type of fabrics used in 1901.



The quilt was designed, sewn and machine-quilted by the Monday Night Quilters. The qroup’s members live in Victoria, Kenbridge, Lunenburg County and Nottoway County. They meet every Monday night at the Victoria Public Library. This beautiful quilt has been donated to the Town of Victoria Centennial Committee by the Monday Night Quilters.


The Raffle

Raffled tickets will be sold for $1.00 each to help raise money for the Centennial Celebration. The Victoria Stars quilt will be on display at the Victoria Library for approximately two months and will be displayed there after in different businesses and offices.
Tickets can be purchased from the Victoria Library, Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and Victoria Town Office. Other businesses may be added. Tickets can also be requested by calling (434) 696-4416 or (434) 696-2954. .
